Yunnan Pu’er Tea Developments Limited (Yunpufa Company) is a Yunnan-based wholly owned subsidiary of Tianda (China) Limited. It is primarily engaged in the investment and development of Pu’er tea business.
Based in Yunnan Province, the place of origin of Pu’er tea, Yunpufa Company leverages the essence of the earth and the agglomeration of mastery techniques to carry out research and development as well as sales and promotion of Pu’er tea products including the traditional Pu’er tea series “Chinese Dream · Tea you in 2049”, innovative fast-consuming Pu’er tea and health-preserving Pu’er tea. Based on inheritance and innovation, the company aims to establish a brand-new marketing system, forging the new brand of Pu’er tea - “Yunpufa”, actively promoting Pu’er tea culture and endeavouring to foster Pu’er tea to become the “National Tea”.
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area is the largest Pu’er tea consumption area. Yunpufa Company assists its parent companies Tianda (China) and Tianda Group to gain the foothold in Zhuhai, the central city of the Greater Bay Area, and to invest in the “Bay Area · Pu’er Tea Land” project. This project is a combination of Pu’er tea storage and trading, tasting experience, culture and creativity as well as health-preserving delicacies. Along the Belt and Road, the company promotes Pu’er tea from the Greater Bay Area to the world, allowing more countries and people to experience the beauty and charisma of Pu’er tea.
Yunnan Pu’er Tea Developments Limited inherits Tianda Group’s corporate philosophy of “Striving for Perfection”, dedicating itself to produce high quality Pu’er tea and facilitating its development, making every effort to waft the aroma of Pu’er Tea throughout the world.
Our Brand
Pu’er Tea, Chinese heritage, is a variety of fermented tea produced in the Yunnan province of China. It is known for its exceptional richness and depth and the longer it ages, the more mellow it gets. Thanks to the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, Pu’er has long been known home and abroad. The most famous categories of Pu’er Tea include Private Brand Antique Teacake (produced between the 1900s and the 1950), Label Grade Teacake (produced between the 1950 and the 1970) and Chi Tse Teacake (Seven Cake Tea).
The story of Mr. Fang Wenquan, the founder of Tianda Group, and Yunnan Province started in 1988. In the hope to further promote Pu’er tea to countries along the Belt and Road, Fang founded Yunnan Pu’er Tea Developments Limited and created the Yunpufa Brand in 2019.
The year 2019 also marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In three decades, the nation will fully realize its Chinese Dream. Starting from 2019, Yunpufa will produce exquisite tea cake every year. We invite Pu’er connoisseurs and aficionados to savor it and collect it.
