“Yunpufa”, the Pu’er tea brand under Tianda Group, was invited to attend the China Hotel Industry Green Development High-Level Seminar and the Shanghai Hotel Low-Carbon Cooperation Symposium held in Shanghai in early June. As a sustainable tea beverage customization partner for high-end hotels, Yunpufa collaborated with the Hotel Low-Carbon Development Research Institute to jointly promote the implementation of low-carbon hotel tea beverage standards. With a specially customized low-carbon tea gift box, the brand injected the sustainable strength of Chinese tea culture into the industry’s green development.

Driven by the “dual-carbon” goals, the hotel industry is accelerating its transition towards low-carbon operations. Yunpufa’s participation at the event was not only a product display, but a systematic presentation of its brand philosophy — integrating the green genes of the Pu’er tea industry chain, the scientific research strength of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute, and the low-carbon needs of hotel scenarios. Through initiatives such as customized tea beverage product matrices, degradable eco-friendly packaging, and small-portion reduced-volume designs, Yunpufa has upgraded the traditional hospitality ritual of “serving tea” into a green touchpoint for hotels to practice ESG principles and enhance guest room experiences. At the summit, Yunpufa was recognized by many high-end hotels as a “trustworthy strategic ESG partner.”
The theme of this summit, “Carbon Empowerment for Hotels · Green Building the Future,” highly aligns with Yunpufa’s brand core of “simplicity, nature, and health.” The low-carbon tea gift box customized by Yunpufa for the conference uses degradable eco-friendly materials, adheres to minimalist design, and eliminates excessive packaging, embedding the green philosophy into every detail. The gift box integrates multiple tea products, perfectly matching diverse scenarios such as high-end reception, guest room use, and business souvenirs. It has become a distinctive cultural carrier for hotels to convey their low-carbon commitments. Taking this event as an opportunity, Yunpufa announced that it will continue to deeply cultivate the green hotel and guest room supporting sector, collaborating with major hotel brands in the Yangtze River Delta region to implement green guest room upgrade cooperation, and deliver triple value of “low-carbon + wellness + culture” to the industry.

Leveraging the pharmaceutical-grade scientific research standards of Tianda Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Institute, Yunpufa has launched small-portion wellness mini-box teas, including varieties such as Yellow Essence Ginseng Ten Treasures Tea and Low-Caffeine Good Night Tea. These precisely meet the time-segmented needs of high-end leisure and business guests. The small-portion packaging not only reduces per-use cost but also minimizes material waste, achieving a win-win for “quality experience” and “low-carbon operation.”
For high-end reception needs, Yunpufa has introduced small-portion 2006 Mid-Aged Sheng and Shu Pu’er teas. The raw tea is selected from ancient tree tea leaves from Bulang Mountain, aged for twenty years in Menghai’s original mountain dry warehouses, resulting in an interwoven aroma of woody, honey, and aged notes. The ripe tea follows traditional light active fermentation techniques; after the pile aroma dissipates, it develops a rich camphor fragrance with a thick, full-bodied texture. The small-portion design lowers the threshold for enjoying premium teas while aligning with hotels’ low-carbon logic of “on-demand use,” making it a differentiated cultural carrier for high-end hotels when receiving VIP guests.

Also showcased at the conference was the Putian Tongkang Tea Paste, made with selected Yunnan Pu’er ripe tea, Sanqi flower stem extract from Wenshan, and Xinhui aged tangerine peel. It meets the current upgraded demand for health and wellness.
