Yunpufa Impresses at Les Lumières de Paris, Achieving Record Sales at Hong Kong Auction

On May 9, 2025, at the third anniversary celebration of the Les Lumières de Paris Institute of Hong Kong chapter, Yunpufa, the leading brand of high-end Puer tea from China, once again captured the industry’s spotlight. Seven carefully selected premium Pu’er tea treasures were auctioned off, achieving a total sales amount of nearly 600,000 Hong Kong dollars, showcasing the brand's exceptional quality appeal, and popularity among discerning tea enthusiasts and collectors.

During the auction, the Puer tea named Gold Tally 2008” was sold for 160,000 Hong Kong dollars, setting the highest record for the single item sold that evening. This tea, aged for 17 years in pure dry storage, exhibits unique wood and ginseng aromas, highlighting the charm and sophistication of mid-aged Pu’er tea. Additionally, the debut of Yunpufa Lao Banzhang and Yunpufa Five-Star Tribute raw Pu’er teas generated significant interest from top collector’s post-auction.

The founder of Yunpufa remarked, “The success of this auction once again confirms market recognition for our steadfast tea-making philosophy—selecting century-old ancient tree materials from Yunnan’s core production areas, blending traditional craftsmanship with scientific storage methods, ensuring that every Yunpufa Pu’er tea cake becomes a crystallization of artistry and time.”

As the representative brand of high-quality Pu’er tea in China, Yunpufa has received numerous accolades in recent years, including the Hong Kong Emerging Brand Award and the Gold Award at the Tea Expo. The successful collaboration with the Les Lumières de Paris Institute of Hong Kong chapter marks a confident ascent of Chinese tea culture on the prestigious high-end platform.
